AT STANFORD: Three-year letterwinner returns as the incumbent starter at right cornerback where he has made 13 career starts over the last two seasons...his 13 starts are the second most among secondary personnel behind Delano Howell (23)...Michael Thomas has also made 11 career starts heading into the 2011 season...solid, all-around performer who has shown marked improvement each season.

2010 (JUNIOR):
Started the first eight games at right cornerback before being slowed down the stretch with injury...missed the Arizona and Arizona State game with injury...came off the bench in the Cal and Oregon State games...finished with 40 tackles, including 36 solo stops...also had four pass breakups...credited with five or more tackles in five games...had a season high eight stops against Washington State...finished with six tackles against UCLA, Oregon and USC...also had five stops at Notre Dame...recorded his first career interception at Washington...returned to the starting lineup against Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl and registered four tackles.

2009 (SOPHOMORE):
Appeared in 13 games and made five starts at right corner and one at left corner...finished the season with 28 total tackles, including 22 solo stops...also credited with four pass breakups...started the last five games of the season...made his first collegiate start against Arizona State at left cornerback and finished with three tackles...was moved to right corner for the final five games of the year...had five stops against USC, including four solo efforts...had a season-high six tackles against Notre Dame.

2008 (FRESHMAN):
Was one of eight true freshmen to see game action in '08...appeared in 11 games, seeing most of his action on special teams...finished with six total tackles, including four solo efforts.

TRACK AND FIELD:
Earned honorable mention all-conference honors last spring...ran a season best in the 100 meters of 10.95 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational ... a member of the 4x100-meter relay at that placed eighth at the Pac-10 Championships with a time of 41.47.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA:
Graduated from Gonzaga High School in Silver Spring, Md. ....played primarily cornerback but also saw action at safety and linebacker along with returning kicks...registered 60 tackles, five forced fumbles and four interceptions as a senior...earned first team All-Washington Catholic League honors and Washington Post All-Metro accolades...also was one of the top high school rugby players in the country...played for the United States U-17 and U-18 national teams...participated in track as a senior and registered personal bests of 10.8 in the 100m, 22.17 in the 200m and 21-9 in the long jump...received the Headmaster's Award for exceptional loyalty to the ideals of the school and classmates...also received the Maurice "Maus" Collins Award for excellence and leadership on and off the football field...born July 23, 1990, in Washington, D.C....history major.
