SALT LAKE CITY -- John Hochstatter will have to wait until Sunday for a chance at his 10th win of the season, as Stanford and Utah were postponed Saturday due to rain at Smith's Ballpark. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Sunday at 9 a.m. PT.
Each game of the doubleheader is scheduled for nine innings.
Sunday will be the second doubleheader of the year for the Cardinal. Stanford swept then-No. 11 Oregon in a twin bill at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond March 28.
Smith's Ballpark also hosts a home game for the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angles, Sunday night at 5:35 p.m. PT.
Sunday is the final day of the NCAA baseball regular season. The postseason tournament selection show will be aired Monday, May 26 at 9 a.m. PT on ESPNU.
