Quantrill is Stanford's usual Friday night starter, but Keaffaber being named Indiana State's No. 1 guy comes as a surprise to some. The newcomer owns a team-best 2.80 ERA, although he has only started two games. "Keaffaber has been our most consistent pitcher the last month of the season," said Indiana State head coach Mitch Hannahs.
Today's game, as well as the rest of the Bloomington Regional, will be aired on ESPN3.
No. 1-seed Indiana takes on No. 4 Youngstown State at 4 p.m. PT.
