All-Americans Recognized

STANFORD, Calif. – Kelsey Harbin and Dulcie Davies were named Longstreth/NFHCA First Team All-Americans, as announced Monday by the organizations.

It is the third All-America honor for Harbin, and her second First Team selection. It is the first All-America award for Davies.

The duo anchored the nation’s best defense that led the country in goals-against average and save percentage nearly every week of the season. Stanford finished the season ranked first in save percentage (.820) and second in goals-against average (0.81).

Harbin and Davies led the Cardinal to seven shutouts and limited opponents to one goal or less in 20 of 22 games. The pair played integral roles in helping Stanford achieve its most successful season in program history, which included the team’s first NCAA Tournament victory, 19 wins and a 4-1 record against top-10 opponents.

Harbin continued to be a dominant force as one of the nation’s elite defenders in the center of the backline. She consistently stepped up in plays to make tackles, disrupt the opponents’ offense and start the Cardinal’s counter-attack. She contributed offensively as well, registering three goals and six assists.

Harbin, along with her classmates, finished their collegiate careers with a 68-19 record – the best in program history.

Davies continued to provide stability in goal and led the country in goals-against average and save percentage nearly every week of the season. She finished the year ranked first in save percentage (.813) and second in goals-against average (0.82).

Davies has started all 66 games of her collegiate career, registering a 1.08 GAA, 233 saves and 24 shutouts.

Harbin and Davies, along with teammates Alex McCawley and Maddie Secco, also previously earned All-Region recognition this season.
