TEMPE, Ariz. - Saddled with its first two losses of the season on Friday, Stanford bounced back with a pair of offensive-minded victories on Saturday afternoon at the Kajikawa Classic.
The Cardinal closed out the third day of tournament competition with a 10-0 rout of Bradley in its first game and a 10-9 victory over Texas in the nightcap.
Stanford (3-2) wraps up play on Sunday against UTEP at 12:30 p.m. PT.

Lauren Bertoy and Tylyn Wells each tallied three RBI while Jessica Plaza blasted her second home run of the season, pacing Stanford to a 10-0 victory in five innings against Bradley (1-3).
Stanford (2-2) scored eight of its 10 runs over the first three innings, quickly putting the game out of reach. The Cardinal pounded out nine hits and took advantage of two costly Bradley errors.
The Cardinal led 3-0 after two innings, manufacturing three runs in the bottom of the second. Plaza scored the first run when Bertoy was hit by a pitch, before Kylie Sorenson came home after Hanna Winter drew a bases-loaded walk. A sacrifice fly from Wells plated Cassandra Roulund to complete the scoring.
Plaza’s 11th career homer scored Kayla Bonstrom to open the home half of the third, extending Stanford’s lead to 5-0. Roulund then scored her second run of the game when Winter reached base on an infield error.
Wells then responded with a two-out single up the middle, advancing to the second on a throwing error after Winter and Bertoy came around to score.
Madi Schreyer picked up the victory in the circle, allowing two hits while striking out one. Haley Snyder and Wells followed with shutout innings in relief.

Lauren Bertoy drove in four runs while Kayla Bonstrom and Bessie Noll contributed homers, lifting Stanford past Texas 10-9 in an entertaining back-and-forth battle.
Stanford (3-2) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, as Noll crushed her first homer of the season with a two-run shot that scored Tylyn Wells.
Texas (2-2), which was victimized by four errors, countered with a seven-run outburst in the bottom of the second, highlighted by a grand slam from Lindsey Stephens.
But the Cardinal quickly responded in the top of third, plating four runs to even the game at 7-7. Kylie Sorensen delivered a two-run single with the bases loaded, scoring Bonstrom and Noll. Later in the inning, Bertoy also came through with a two-run single, bringing home Sorenson and Jessica Plaza.
Stanford’s offense remained hot and produced three more runs in the top of the fourth. A sacrifice fly from Cassandra Roulund brought home Noll with the go-ahead run before Bertoy added a two-run double.
Madi Schreyer earned the victory, striking out five and scattering five hits over 4.1 innings. Haley Snyder converted Stanford’s first save of the season with 2.2 innings of relief.
