Four Wins In Six Days

STANFORD, Calif. - No. 43 Stanford closed out its busiest week in recent memory in style, blanking Arizona 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

Facing a stretch of four matches to be played over six days, Stanford (10-4, 2-0 Pac-12) swept through the week with four victories, three of which came at home.

With the doubles point quickly locked up, the Cardinal received convincing victories from Robert Stineman (6-2, 6-1 at No. 5) and Tom Fawcett (6-2, 6-0 at No. 1) for a 3-0 lead.

The clincher was provided by Nolan Paige, defeating Will Kneale 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 4 position.

Arizona (8-13, 0-2 Pac-12) has dropped four of its last five.

Stanford hits the road next week, with the trip beginning at Oregon on Friday, April 3, at 3 p.m. PT
