STANFORD, Calif. - The Cardinal sand volleyball team plays host to the Stanford Invitational, Friday through Sunday, April 10-12 at the new Stanford Sand Volleyball Stadium and the ACSR courts.
Stanford welcomes California, Cal Poly, Oregon, Saint Mary's, UCLA and Washington to The Farm this weekend. Dual competition begins at 2 p.m. PT on Friday, April 10 and continues all day Saturday. The teams will compete in a pairs tournament on Sunday, April 12.
Stanford opens the tournament on Friday against Oregon at 2 p.m. The Cardinal will then face UCLA at 9 a.m. and Cal Poly at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Competition will be played at the new sand volleyball stadium as well as at the Arillaga Center for Sports and Recreation courts, located between the Graduate School of Business and the Taube South tennis courts.
Saturday's competition coincides with Cardinalpalooza, the free Stanford sports festival. Seven teams will be in action on The Farm. All events are free.
