WEST WINDSOR, N.J.Austin Hack ’14 will be racing in a men’s pair at the first USRowing National Selection Regatta this week.

More than 140 athletes and 21 clubs from across the country will compete at the event from Wednesday-Saturday.

Hack teams up with Dariush Aghai to make up one of the 12 crews entered in the men’s pair event. Eight of those 12 are from the USRowing Training Center, including Hack and Aghai.

The time trials will take place on Wednesday morning with the semifinals scheduled for Friday starting at 7:50 a.m. ET.

Hack has been training with the National team since graduating with a degree in political science last June. He placed 8th at the 2014 World Championships in Amsterdam with the U.S. men’s eight. He also competed at the 2013 World Championships, earning a bronze medal with the U.S. men’s eight in Chungju, South Korea.
