Seventh at Pac-12 Finale

BOULDER, Colo. – Lauren Kim posted a spectacular final-round 67 to place seventh and No. 17 Stanford was seventh overall at the Pac-12 Conference Championships, which wrapped up Wednesday at Boulder Country Club.

Kim (72-72-67) had four birdies and an eagle during her last round to finish 2-under at the 54-hole event.

The finish signified the junior’s steady progression at the league showdown, as Kim tied for ninth in 2014 and placed 29th during her freshman campaign.

Stanford, the defending league champions, posted rounds of 286-303-289 for the top-10 finish at 26-over. Arizona (+1) fended off Oregon (+6) for the comeback victory, followed by Washington (+9), UCLA (+10), Colorado (+16) and USC (+24).

Oregon’s Caroline Inglis took medalist honors at 7-under.

Mariah Stackhouse (70-75-76) and Casey Danielson (70-78-73) tied for 25th at 8-over. Both performers managed only one birdie during their respective final rounds.

Quirine Eijkenboom (81-83-73) and Shannon Aubert (74-78-85) tied for 52nd at 24-over.

Stanford now waits to learn of its postseason destiny, as the NCAA Regional Championships will be contested May 7-9.
