STANFORD, Calif. - At the final practice before the NCAA Championships every year, head coach Yasmin Farooq lets her seniors make wishes at the end of practice.
The 2015 seniors chose to row together in a four with Amanda Lorei as coxswain and coxswain Naomi Cornman rowing. Assistant coach Nate Rooks jumped in to stroke an eight with Emily Grundman and Katie Toothman trying their hand at coxswain. Normal coxswains Leigh Warner and Liza Gurtin moved in as rowers as well. Freshman Alie Rusher drove a coaching launch.
