STANFORD, Calif. – One week after claiming its first NCAA title, Stanford placed five women’s golf student-athletes on the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic team, as released by the league on Wednesday.
The honorable mention honorees included Casey Danielson (undeclared), Quirine Eijkenboom (undeclared), Lauren Kim (science, technology and society), Mariah Stackhouse (communication) and Mariko Tumangan (psychology).
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and participate in at least half of their team’s scheduled regular season events.
Each of Stanford’s five eligible student-athletes received the distinction.
