SAN FRANCISCO – Stanford was selected ninth in the Pac-12 Conference’s preseason media poll, it was announced on Thursday at Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Media Day in San Francisco.
The Cardinal, which finished with 24 wins and captured its second postseason NIT Championship in four years last season, garnered 145 votes in a poll of members of the media who cover the conference. Stanford is one of four Pac-12 teams to have appeared in four consecutive postseasons. Head coach Johnny Dawkins begins his eighth season on The Farm.
