• No. 10/11 Stanford concludes the first of two three-game homestands Saturday when it welcomes Washington to Stanford Stadium. The past three matchups between the Cardinal and Washington have been decided by a combined 14 points.

• At 4-0, the Cardinal is the only Pac-12 North team undefeated in conference play (Utah leads the Pac-12 South with a 3-0 conference record). In fact, Stanford is 4-0 in conference play for the first time since 2011, fourth since 1970 and 11th since 1925.

• The Cardinal enters the matchup ranked 10th by the AP and 11th by USA Today. The top-10 ranking by the AP is Stanford’s first since the end of the 2013 regular season. Of Stanford’s 83 all-time AP top-10 rankings, 45 have been earned since 2010.

• Stanford has won six of its past seven meetings with Washington. With a win on Saturday, Stanford will even the series in the 86th meeting (Washington leads, 41-40-4). Stanford won once from 1983-2003, and Washington has not won at Stanford Stadium since 2007. Stanford’s series with Washington is its second oldest, and the Huskies are the Cardinal’s most common out-of-state opponent.

• Starting with its home-opening win over UCF, the Cardinal is one of eight FBS teams -- and five Power 5 teams -- to score at least 31 points in each of their past five contests, and one of four to do so without facing an FCS program.

• In wins over Oregon State, Arizona and UCLA, Stanford rushed for over 300 yards in three straight games for the first time in program history.

• Stanford has won a nation-best 25 consecutive night games at home.

• Under head coach David Shaw, Stanford is 3-1 vs. Washington, 32-8 in Pac-12 regular-season games, 27-3 at home, 15-4 in October, 33-11 coming off a win, 21-6 when ranked higher than an opponent, 24-8 in night games and 13-4 on ESPN.

• Since 2010, Stanford is 42-5 in games in California (4-0 in 2015, 7-2 in 2014, 7-2 in 2013, 10-0 in 2012, 7-1 in 2011, 7-0 in 2010).

• Stanford and Texas are the only schools among the 68 Power 5 and independent programs to play 12 FBS opponents, 11 of which are Power 5 schools or Notre Dame. Five of Stanford’s 12 regular-season opponents -- No. 7 Oregon, No. 8 USC, No. 11 Notre Dame, No. 13 UCLA and No. 22 Arizona -- were ranked in the AP’s preseason top 25.

• Stanford requires students to declare a major before their junior year. Among the team’s upperclassmen, 16 majors are represented. Eleven Cardinal are engineering majors. Majors with three or more Cardinal student-athletes: communication, economics, human biology, management science and engineering, psychology, public policy, and science, technology and society.

• No program in the nation has a higher graduation rate over the past four years than Stanford (99%). Furthermore, no Pac-12 Conference team has had more draftees over the past four years than Stanford (19).
