STANFORD, Calif. –Senior goalkeeper Dulcie Davies was honored as the America East Defensive Player of the Week Monday for her efforts in Stanford’s win over conference foe UC Davis last week. The honor is the second of the season for Davies, who is currently ranked third in the NCAA in save percentage (.827).
Davies (science, technology and society) posted a perfect week for the Cardinal as she allowed no goals in nearly 61 minutes of action against UC Davis, while posting a save as Stanford topped the Aggies 5-1. In addition to her save percentage, Davies is ranked in three additional categories in the NCAA: seventh in Goals Against Average (1.12), 18th in win-loss percentage (.688) and 28th in Saves Per Game (5.38).

The Cardinal will close out their 2015 regular season this Friday as they set to host America East foe Pacific at 6 p.m. PT at Varsity Turf in Stanford, Calif.
