STANFORD, Calif. - In all, seven current and former Cardinal swimmers will compete at the AT&T Winter Nationals in Federal Way, Wash., this weekend. The three-day meet begins on Thursday at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
Freshmen Ella Eastin and Kim Williams and juniors Lia Neal and Nicole Stafford will compete this weekend alongside redshirt Simone Manuel and recent graduates Felicia Lee and Maya DiRado.
DiRado, Williams and Eastin are scheduled to swim in the 200 indvidual medley on Thursday, while Lee, Stafford, Neal and Manuel will compete in the 50 free on the first day. On Day Two, DiRado and Eastin are slated for the 400 individual medley, Stafford and Lee will be in the 100 fly, and Neal, Stafford and Manuel are set to swim in the 200 free. To cap the second day, Eastin and Williams will compete in the 100 breast, and Lee and DiRado will be in the 100 back.
On the final day, the Cardinal has three slated for the 200 breast and four in the 100 free in addition to Williams in the 200 fly and DiRado in the 200 back.
The Cardinal registered victories over Utah (177-112) and Washington State (142-119) in its only duals of the fall, and most recenlty finished second at the Art Adamson Invitational in College Station, Texas.
