Re-calibrated Sound System

In response to fan feedback, we’ve audited and recalibrated our stadium audio system to optimize sound based on the design of Stanford Stadium. We recognize that it may not be perfect for all fans at the home opener, and will continue to make incremental adjustments as the season progresses.

New Control Room and Back-End Videoboard Support = Gameday in Full HD

The videoboard control room has been upgraded to full HD, which will allow us to fully capitalize on the one-year-old HD videoboards in Stanford Stadium (as well as the new HD videoboard in Maples Pavilion), and display game footage in high-definition as well as display stunning HD graphics on the 360-degree ribbon board. Thanks to a new replay system, we’ll be able to quickly scan through up to 8 HD camera feeds to give you the best replay angle throughout the game.

New Videoboard Elements on Gameday

Fans have much to look forward to, including more video elements highlighting the history and accomplishments of Stanford Athletics, other college football games broadcast live pregame, and more opportunities to view your social media posts on the big screen and ribbon board.

New Interactive Activities at Fan Fest

Check out a new virtual reality station and some fun interactive tours in addition to the food trucks, inflatable games and more throughout the season. Stay tuned to gostanford.com/fanfest for more information.

Upgraded Scanners Enable Scans of Tickets on Mobile Phones

As we move forward with digital ticketing, we’ve upgraded and added to our scanner inventory to enable quicker scans of mobile devices. We encourage fans to select mobile delivery of their tickets for a greener and more efficient online ticketing experience.
