STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford's men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Wednesday.
The awards are in recognition of teams’ that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2015 Fall Semester.
Stanford's women collectively averaged a 3.48 GPA -- the highest of any team in the Pac-12. The Cardinal men boasted a combined GPA of 3.30 which was also the highest of any men's team in the Pac-12.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
