STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford synchronized swimming team opened the 2016 season by sweeping Incarnate Word on Friday and Saturday at the Avery Aquatic Center.

Head coach Sara Lowe, fielding two teams for the first time since 2005, received solid, all-around performances.

“I am very happy with the high level our student-athletes executed their fast, challenging routines,” she said. “They have been working very hard and are motivated to achieve their goals this season. It is great to see their hard work paying off.”
