SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Stanford women’s golf team finished seventh on Tuesday in the Bruin Wave Invitational at San Luis Obispo Country Club.

The Cardinal concluded with a 54-hole total of 39-over 903, with three players posting top 20 showings individually. UCLA claimed first in the 16-team event with a 4-over score of 868.

Louise Ridderstrom of UCLA captured medalist honors at 3-under 213.

Sophomore Shannon Aubert paced Stanford with a tie for 12th, shooting rounds of 73-72-75 to finish at 4-over 220. Senior Mariah Stackhouse (70-77-74) placed 16th at 5-over 221, while senior Laruen Kim (69-79-77) tied for 18th at 9-over 225.

Junior Quirine Eijkenboom (81-77-81) tied for 63rd at 23-over 239, and junior Casey Danielson (79-82-83) tied for 73rd at 28-over 244.

Next up for Stanford is the SDSU March Mayhem, March 21-23 in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
