STANFORD, Calif. – It wasn’t the best offensive outing for the fifth-ranked Stanford men’s volleyball team, but the Cardinal defense held No. 15 Cal Baptist in check in a 25-16, 25-20, 25-19 sweep, Friday, in Maples Pavilion.

The win over the Lancers (11-14, 4-14 MPSF) momentarily puts Stanford (17-3, 15-3 MPSF) back in sole possession of first place in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
