NAPA, Calif. – Senior Lauren Kim and junior Casey Danielson fired 3-under-par 69s on Monday to help the No. 11-ranked Stanford women’s golf team increase its lead in the Silverado Showdown at Silverado Resort and Spa.

Stanford posted a four-player score of 3-under 285 and has a two-day total of 5-under 571. Defending champion Oregon is second at 9-over 585 .

After recording a 2-under 34 on the front nine, Kim finished strong with birdies at 16, 17 and 18. Danielson toured the front nine in 3-under 33 and produced four birdies.

Senior Mariah Stackhouse shot her second-consecutive even-par 72, making two birdies and two bogeys, while sophomore Shannon Aubert saved her best for last, eagling the par-5 18th hole to shoot 75.

Freshman Sierra Kersten, competing individually, eagled the par-5 16th hole and shot 75.

Kim leads in the medalist chase at 5-under 139, one stroke ahead of Cathleen Santoso of Oregon. Danielson is third at 3-under 140, while Stackhouse is tied for fifth at 144.

Aubert and Kersten are tied for 24th and junior Quirine Eijkenboom is tied for 72nd.
