STANFORD, Calif. - Five Stanford student-athletes were selected in the NFL Draft -- offensive guard Joshua Garnett, tight end Austin Hooper, inside linebacker Blake Martinez, quarterback Kevin Hogan and offensive tackle Kyle Murphy.
Stanford leads the Pac-12 with the most NFL Draft choices (24) in the past five years.
Stanford has had 262 players drafted by professional football teams since 1936.

A native of Puyallup, Washington, the offensive guard was unanimous first team All-America in 2015, only the ninth in school history. He was the program's first Outland Trophy winner as the nation's top interior lineman, and won the Morris Trophy, presented to the Pac-12 Lineman of the Year.

A psychology major from San Ramon, California, Hooper was a Mackey Award finalist and was named to the AP All-America third team, All-Pac-12 first team and Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.

Blake Martinez • Green Bay Packers

The inside linebacker from Tucson, Arizona, was selected to the AP All-America third team, USA Today All-America second team and All-Pac-12 first team as a senior in 2015. A semifinalist for the Butkus Award, Martinez also was named to the Rotary Lombardi Award, Nagurski Trophy and Bednarik Award watch lists, and was a quarterfinalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy.

Kevin Hogan • Kansas City Chiefs

The McLean, Virginia, native is the winningest starting quarterback in school history (36-10). Hogan, a two-year team captain, was 16-6 against opponents ranked in the AP Top 25, led Stanford to three Pac-12 titles, and is the first quarterback to win three postseason bowl games, guiding the Cardinal to a pair of Rose Bowl victories and a Foster Farms Bowl triumph.

A science, technology and society major from San Clemente, California, Murphy started at left tackle in all 14 games as a senior, and was a Phil Steele All-America third team, All-Pac-12 first team and AP All-Pac-12 first team choice.
