STANFORD, Calif. – Playing in their final game at Smith Family Stadium, Stanford seniors Kayla Bonstrom, Jessica Plaza and Kaitlin Schaberg left it all on the field in a 10-5 loss to visiting No. 13 Washington, Satuday.
Plaza recorded a career high four RBI, including a three run home run in the third which scored Schaberg and Bonstrom. It was Plaza's first home run of the season. The Cardinal (13-35, 0-24 Pac-12) finished with five runs on four hits, while the Huskies (36-13, 16-8 Pac-12) scored 10 runs on 10 hits with one error.

Bonstrom closed out her collegiate career on an eight-game hitting streak with a single up the middle in the third. Schaberg finished with two walks and a run scored.
Sophomore Lauren Wegner hit a double in the second and then scored as designated player Molly Fowkes reached on an error by Washington shortstop Ali Aguilar.
Stanford led 4-2 until Washington put up five runs in the top of the fifth before Plaza caught Taylor Van Zee trying to steal second to end the top half of the inning.

The Cardinal added a run in the bottom of the fifth as Plaza hit a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Schaberg again.
Washington capped off its scoring with three more runs in the sixth. Madi Schreyer picked up the win for the Huskies in the circle, moving to 12-4. Hailey Bator, who entered the game in the bottom of the fifth with a runner on and a 7-4 Washington lead, earned her first save of the season.
Carolyn Lee finished her rookie campaign at 6-21.
