STANFORD, Calif. – Junior Casey Danielson and senior Mariah Stackhouse were selected to the Division I All-Region Team, it was announced Tuesday by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.
Both produced top 10 finishes at the recent NCAA Stanford Regional Championships at Stanford Golf Course and helped the Cardinal share first place with USC. Danielson placed fourth at 2-under 211 with rounds of 72-68-71. Stackhouse tied for sixth at 1-under 212 by shooting 69-70-73.
The duo helped Stanford advance to the NCAA Championships, Friday through Tuesday at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon, where the team will defend its 2015 national title.
