Scholar All-America Honors

STANFORD, Calif. - Once again the Stanford women's swimming and diving teams earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Wednesday.

The awards are in recognition of teams’ that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2016 Spring Semester.

Stanford's women collectively averaged a 3.44 GPA -- the highest of any team in the Pac-12. The Cardinal were also tops among the conference with a Fall GPA of 3.48.

For the second time in three years, the Stanford women's swimming and diving team finished second at the NCAA Championships. The Cardinal, which finished unbeaten (7-0) in the regular season, ranked as high as No. 1 in the nation.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
