Fawcett Invited to American Collegiate Invitational

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Tom Fawcett, sophomore all-American, will represent Stanford as the USTA announced the top American collegiate players selected to play in the third annual American Collegiate Invitational at the 2016 U.S. Open September 8-10 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

The American Collegiate Invitational features 16 of the top collegiate tennis players, eight male and eight female. Fawcett is the sole student-athlete representing the Pac-12.

The American Collegiate Invitational champions will receive main draw wild card entries into the 2017 U.S. Open if either is ranked No. 120 or better by the U.S. Open entry deadline next summer. Otherwise, the winners will receive qualifying wild cards.
