STANFORD, Calif. – Top-ranked Stanford wraps up its nonconference schedule when it hosts local rival Santa Clara on Friday at 5 p.m. PT at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.

Last weekend, the Cardinal (6-0-1) defeated Minnesota, 4-1, on Friday before playing out a 2-2 draw with Notre Dame on Sunday. Senior attacker Megan Turner was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the week after assisting Jordan DiBiasi's opener against Minnesota and netting two of her own against the Irish two days later.

In 41 meetings against Santa Clara, the most of any opponent in program history, Stanford holds a 17-19-5 record. In the most recent matchup last season, the Cardinal lost a 1-0 decision to the Broncos at Stevens Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Stanford has won 10 of its past 11 matches against Santa Clara, outscoring the Broncos 32-8 over that span.

Friday's game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network with live statistics available at GoStanford.com.Notes Stanford enters the fifth week of the 2016 season ranked No. 1 in the NSCAA Coaches Poll, No. 2 in the TopDrawerSoccer rankings and No. 1 in the Soccer America rankings.
