Main Singles Draw (128 players) | Main Doubles Draw (64 teams)
This year's ITA Northwest Regional Championships will be live streamed by FloTennis. FloTennis is a branch of FloSports, a direct-to-consumer, subscriptionbased, sports media company.
In addition to Stanford, the ITA's Northwest Region schools are comprised of the following: California, Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon, Pacific, Portland, Portland State, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Seattle, UC Davis, Washington and Washington State.
Davidson captured her first career singles title at last year's event, defeating Fresno State's Maier Sherif Ahmed 7-5, 2-6, 6-1 and becoming the sixth consecutive Cardinal player to claim the ITA Northwest Regional crown. Davidson, who was also the singles runner-up as a sophomore in 2014, followed in the footsteps of former Stanford champions Carol Zhao (2014), Kristie Ahn (2013, 2010), Krista Hardebeck (2012) and Nicole Gibbs (2011).
Davidson later produced another title in doubles, teaming with Doyle for a 7-5, 6-3 victory over California's Klara Fabikova and Olivia Hauger. Making the championship even more memorable was the fact Davidson and Doyle were playing together for the first time in their careers. The duo would ultimately finish the season ranked No. 11 in the country at 22-12 overall, collecting two more titles along the way.
Friday's action begins at 9 a.m. with the first two rounds of singles and the opening slate of doubles. The competition continues Saturday with two more rounds on both sides with the quarterfinals set for Sunday. Semifinals for singles and doubles are contested Monday, before the championship matches on Tuesday.
