He finished the day with five tackles and one pass defended after replacing injured Darius Slay in the first half. Slay's status for Week 8 is unclear, so either Bademosi or former Cardinal Alex Carter, who is currently on Detroit's practice squad, could see significant snaps next weekend.

The story of the game for Cleveland in a 31-17 loss was Kevin Hogan, who took over for an injured Cody Kessler after starting the game as an occasional change-of-pace substitute. Hogan, who had three carries for 37 yards until Kessler got hurt, finished the day with 104 rushing yards on seven attempts and a 28-yard score, the longest rushing touchdown by a quarterback in franchise history. Hogan's 12 for 24 performance for 100 yards and two interceptions will have to improve if he is to keep the starting job, but his 95.8 rushing grade from Pro Football Focus makes for an exciting start to his NFL career. As of Tuesday morning, Hogan sat atop the Browns' depth chart at quarterback.
