Time to Dance

STANFORD, Calif. - Fresh off its first America East championship the 13th-ranked Cardinal field hockey team was selected to take on the University of North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA First Round this week. 

The appearance is the 15th in program history for the Cardinal, who will face-off against the fifth-ranked Tar Heels. The Tar Heels enter with a record of 17-5 after falling to Virginia in the ACC conference final. 

All-time against the Tar Heels the Cardinal is 1-9 and has seen UNC twice in the last seven years in the NCAA tourament with North Carolina winning both. 

Game time is set for 11 a.m. (PT) on Saturday, November 12 in College Park, Md. at the Maryland Field Hockey and Lacrosse Stadium.
