Langsdorf Rewarded

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford junior forward Foster Langsdorf was named Pac-12 Player of the Week for games from Nov. 7 to Nov. 13 the conference announced Tuesday.

The honor is the first of Langsdorf's career, the third of the season for the Cardinal and Stanford's 27th all-time player of the week selection.

Langsdorf sent Stanford into the postseason with a win, heading home his conference-leading fifth game-winner of the season in overtime at Cal on Friday afternoon. The junior is one of three Stanford players with at least five game winners in a season in the past 19 years (Jordan Morris – 2015; Jamie Clark – 1998).

Langsdorf finished his regular season as the Pac-12 leader in both goals (12) and points (26). He is ninth nationally in both total goals and goals per game (0.67) and 10th in game-winning goals.

Stanford received the No. 5 seed in the NCAA tournament when the bracket was announced yesterday and will host the winner of CSUN and Pacific in the second round on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 5 p.m.
