Janiga Named All-Century

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford women’s gymnastics alumna Carly Janiga (’10) was named to the Pac-12 Women’s Gymnastics All-Century Team, as announced by the conference Monday night on the Pac-12 Networks Sports Report.

Janiga is one of 16 gymnasts selected to the All-Century Team, which consists of gymnasts across four decades. The roster, compiled as part of the Pac-12’s centennial celebration, was chosen from a field of gymnasts nominated by each Pac-12 institution. Voting was conducted by a panel of coaches, former coaches and individuals associated with Pac-12 gymnastics.

Janiga is one of Stanford’s most successful gymnasts, earning national, regional and conference titles during her collegiate career. She is the only gymnast in Stanford history to win the national title on uneven bars, doing so at the 2010 NCAA Championships with a 9.9375.
