STANFORD, Calif. – Battling weather, the No. 42 Stanford Men’s Tennis Team was able to get one of its scheduled doubleheader against Nevada in with a 4-0 sweep of the Wolf Pack Monday at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

Returning to the court for the first time in 15 days due to its annual extended break for final exams, Stanford (7-6, 0-0 Pac-12) went right to work blanking Nevada (4-9, 0-0 MWC).

After claiming the doubles point with wins in the Nos. 1 and 3 positions, Nolan Paige notched a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 3 spot while Maciek Romanowicz put away Sandro Lena 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5.

Michael Genender stamped the W in the books at the No. 4 position with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Robert Allan.

Stanford will travel next as it sets to visit Pacific on Wednesday and then open Pac-12 play against Arizona on Friday.
