STANFORD, Calif. -- Stanford placed 33 on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic indoor track and field teams, by far the most in the 19-team conference.
The Cardinal was represented by 17 women and 16 men, including women’s MPSF 800 champion Olivia Baker. In addition to Baker, other indoor All-Americans to be named to the MPSF All-Academic teams were Elise Cranny, Vanessa Fraser, Claudia Saunders, and Malika Waschmann among the women, and Justin Brinkley, Tom Coyle, Sean McGorty, Jackson Shumway, and Harrison Williams among the men.
Those with the highest cumulative grade-point averages were Cranny (3.99) among women and Brinkley at 3.85.
