STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford field hockey head coach Tara Danielson announced the signing of six incoming freshman added to the roster starting the 2016 season on Tuesday.
The Cardinal class is comprised of three players recognized in the 2016 Max Field Hockey Top 50 Player Rankings including Kelsey Bing, Nina Randolph and Jessica Welch. Kelsey Bing earned a Top 5 National Player Ranking and is the No.1 ranked goalkeeper in the country.
The Class of 2020 includes Emma Alderton, Kelsey Bing, Phoebe Crosthwaite, Nina Randolph, Hailey Szybunka and Jessica Welch.
Next year’s freshman class will join a Stanford team that advanced to the NCAA First Round, while claiming the No. 1 seed in the America East West Division in its inaugural season in the America East.
