Cardinal Heading to Scotland

STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford men's golf team will trek to Scotland for nearly two weeks of mastering their craft on some of the world's best courses.

Stanford's 29-person travel party will take part in the excursion slated for Sept. 8-17.

"Everyone involved in the program is really excited to take a foreign tour to Scotland, the birthplace of our sport," said Conrad Ray, Stanford's Knowles Family Director of Men's Golf. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime type of trip for our student athletes and the history and culture of Scotland will be special to experience. Many of the courses on our tour have hosted historical and major events, and the camaraderie that our team and donors will be able to build while playing 10 courses in nine days will be invaluable for the future. The travel team at Connoisseur Golf have been first class to work with."
