STANFORD, Calif. - No. 17 Stanford looks to extend its three-game winning streak Friday when it opens conference play against UC Davis at 3 p.m. (PT) at the Aggie Field Hockey Complex.

In the Polls
• The Cardinal checked in at No. 17 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Preseason Poll. Its preseason ranking of 11 is the second-highest in program history.

Familiar Foe... 
• The Cardinal have faced off with the UC Davis Aggies 15 times - and have only lost once in program history. Under Danielson? 12-1 all-time - and she's never lost at Davis.

Coaching Milestones
• Tara Danielson's tenure on the Farm has showcased success nearly unparalleled in Stanford Field Hockey. In just six seasons she has become the second winningest coach in program history - second behind only Sheryl Johnson, who led the program for 18 years to 165 wins. It took Johnson 13 years to get her 100th win at Stanford... Danielson collected hers in less than  SEVEN years. This year Danielson led the Cardinal to her 100th career win at Stanford - against the Yale Bulldogs on September 25th.
