One Last Tune-Up

STANFORD, Calif. - The No. 18 Cardinal will travel to Thousand Oaks, Calif. this weekend to compete in its final tournament before dual play opens this spring in the Sherwood Collegiate Cup Friday through Monday. 

This year's field includes other powerhouse collegiate tennis programs with representatives from UCLA and USC, which are ranked in the preseason polls at No. 8 and 10 respectively.

The Cardinal is slated to begin its tournament run on Friday morning, highlighted by David Wilczynski taking on Max Tchoutakian of Baylor at 10 a.m. PT. 

Doubles competition will begin on Saturday morning with all matches starting at 11:15 a.m. PT.

Following this weekend's tournament, the Cardinal will return to Stanford to begin its 2017 dual-match season.

Stanford will host Eastern Washington at 3 p.m. on January 20 at the Taube Family Tennis Center and BYU January 21st at 1 p.m. in Burlingame, Calif. at the Broadway Tennis Center.
