PRINCETON, N.J. – The sixth-seeded Stanford women's squash team lost to third-seeded Trinity, 9-0, on Friday in the first round of the National Team Championships in the Howe Cup.
Trinity did not lose a game in the first six matches, although the Cardinal competed without freshman Chloe Chemtob at No. 2, as she was sidelined by a hip injury.
Tatyanna Dadabbo, Anna Marie Manning and Bailey Bondy captured a game at No. 7, 8 and 9 for Stanford.
On Saturday, the Cardinal opposes seventh-seeded Cornell at 8:30 a.m. PT on the consolation semifinals.
