PRINCETON, N.J. – Sixth-seeded Stanford will square off against fifth-seeded Yale on Sunday for the consolation championship of the Howe Cup in the Women's National Collegiate Squash Championships.
The Cardinal (7-7) advanced with a 6-3 semifinal victory against seventh-seeded Cornell on Saturday at Judwin Gymnasium. Stanford winners included CC Ho, Christie Huchro, Tara Shannon, Lucy Rowe, Tatyanna Dadabbo, Anna Marie Manning and Bailey Bondy.
Yale defeated Columbia, 8-1.
Sunday's meeting will be a rematch of a January 21 thriller at Stanford, when Yale rallied for a 5-4 win in its first-ever appearance on The Farm.
