STANFORD, Calif. - No. 17 Stanford will wrestle in its final two duals this week, traveling to Utah Valley on Friday, Feb. 10 before hosting San Francisco State on Sunday, Feb. 12 for Senior Day. The Cardinal and Gators will square off at 2 p.m. in Burnham Pavilion. Admission is free.
Stanford (8-3, 4-1 Pac-12) will honor its six seniors - Eric Cramer, Peter Galli, Josh Marchok, Zach Nevills, Peter Russo and Jim Wilson - at the intermission of its dual against San Francisco State (5-10) on Sunday. The dual will be streamed live via pac-12.com. Friday's dual at Utah Valley (5-4) will also be streamed live on Wolverine All-Access. The Wolverines hold victories over Nebraska-Kearney (35-6), Oregon State (17-16), Air Force (18-15), CSU Bakersfield (21-17) and then-No. 23 North Dakota State (22-16).
Stanford has seven ranked wrestlers in the InterMat polls – No. 3 Joey McKenna (141 pounds), No. 12 Nathan Butler (285 pounds), No. 15 Connor Schram (133 pounds), No. 16 Gabriel Townsell (125 pounds), No. 17 Peter Galli (174 pounds), No. 18 Josh Marchok (197 pounds) and No. 19 Keaton Subjeck (165 pounds).
McKenna leads Stanford this season with a 24-1 overall record and a 9-0 mark in duals, good for 37 team points. He also paces the team with eight falls this season. Galli and redshirt sophomore Paul Fox are tied for second with 21 overall wins, while Butler has 19 and Subjeck is fifth with 17.
