STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford logged three top-four finishes at the Admiral Moore Team Race, the Duplin Women's Team Race and the South Designate Championship this past weekend.
Led by skippers Reinier Eenkema van Dijk, Will La Dow and Jacob Rosenberg, the Cardinal went 10-4 at the Admiral Moore Team Race in New York to finish second. Taylor Kirkpatrick, Kathryn Booker and Kennedy Placek served as crews for the Cardinal, which tied with first-place Navy, but lost the trophy via tiebreaker.
Stanford also finished the Duplin Women's Team Race with a 10-4 record, settling for third place behind Yale and Brown in Boston. The Cardinal was represented by skippers Julia Lambert, Maeve White and Martina Sly, and crews Quinn Vangelos, Meg Gerli and Madeline Bubb.
In Los Angeles, Stanford finished fourth at the 23-team South Designate Championship. In the A-division, Nestor Cano skippered Stanford to seventh place with Lauren Block as crew. Olivia Gugliemini took the reins in the B-division, leading Stanford to third place with Cassie Obel serving as crew.
Stanford returns to action on Saturday and Sunday at the Marchiando Team Race in Boston and the Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy in New London, Connecticut. Live results will be available at GoStanford.com.
