STANFORD, Calif. – A dominant showing by senior skipper Maeve White and sophomore crew Meg Gerli lifted Stanford to a win at the Women's Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Championship in San Diego this past weekend.

White and Gerli won the A-division with 39 points, which included eight top-two finishes in 15 races and only four finishes outside the top four. In the B-division, sophomore All-American Martina Sly and freshman crew Madeline Bubb finished in third place with 57 points. Stanford's 96-point total was good enough to edge out UC Santa Barbara (99), and finish ahead of USC (120) and Hawaii (131).

It was the 13th consecutive season in which Stanford was won the spring edition of the PCCSC Women's Championship. The Cardinal captured the fall PCCSC Women's Championship on Oct. 29-30.

Stanford added a fifth-place finish at the Thompson Trophy in New London, Connecticut. Junior All-American Will La Dow took the reins in the A-division, leading Stanford to second place with All-America crews Kathryn Booker and J.P. Cannistraro.

In the B-division, freshman skipper Jacob Rosenberg earned seventh place with junior crew Kennedy Placek, and sophomore skipper William Marshall and sophomore crew Cassie Obel combined to finish in 16th place.

The Cardinal was also in action at the Navy Spring Regatta in Annapolis, Maryland, finishing 11th in the 20-team field. Senior Reinier Eenkema van Dijk skippered Stanford to seventh place in the A-division with freshman Taylor Kirkpatrick serving as crew. In the B-division, freshman Nestor Cano led Stanford to 13th place with sophomore Olivia Gugliemini at crew.

Stanford returns to action in two weeks when it hosts both the PCCSC Coed Championship and PCCSC Team Race Championships in Redwood City at the Stanford Boathouse. Live results for both events will be available at GoStanford.com.
