EUGENE, Ore. - No. 10 Stanford extended its winning streak to 11, defeating No. 37 Oregon 7-0 on Friday afternoon to continue a four-match road swing.
Stanford (15-1, 7-0 Pac-12) is riding its longest in-season winning streak since 2014, when the Cardinal won 13 in a row from Jan. 24-March 30.
The Cardinal locked up the doubles point with a pair of 6-4 victories at Nos. 2 and 3.
Emma Higuchi extended Stanford's lead to 2-0 following her team-best 25th win of the season, a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Rifanty Kahfiani at the No. 6 position.
Caroline Lampl made it 3-0 with a 7-5, 6-1 triumph over Julia Eshet at the No. 5 spot.
The clincher was a 6-3, 6-4 decision from Taylor Davidson, who was returning to the lineup in her first singles appearance since March 18.
Oregon (11-8, 4-3 Pac-12) lost for the second time in five matches.
Stanford has a busy week on tap, beginning with its final nonconference tilt on Wednesday, April 12, at Pepperdine.
