STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford plays host to Saint Mary's on Wednesday at 6 p.m. (PT) in its final nonconference game of the season.
The Cardinal (18-27) is 31-9 all-time against the Gaels (16-26) but is 3-3 in the past six meetings.
Stanford will look to get back in the win column after dropping a trio of games against No. 12 UCLA this past weekend. The Cardinal's best opportunity to claim an upset victory came Saturday in a 6-5 defeat. Carolyn Lee pitched well for Stanford but the team was ultimately undone by committing six errors.
Kylie Sorenson had another big weekend offensively and paced the Cardinal in nearly every major offensive category. She hit .556 (5-for-9) with seven RBIs, three walks, two runs, a home run, an .889 slugging percentage and .692 on-base percentage over the three-game series.
Lauren Bertoy also had a quality weekend at the plate, boasting a .429 average (3-for-7) with a team-high three runs, and three walks.

Saint Mary's is looking to snap a four-game losing stream and was swept this past weekend by Loyola Marymount. The Gaels are led offensively by Nikki Alexander who is hitting .382 on the season. Katie Moss has logged a majority of the innings in the circle and holds a 2.57 ERA.
