STANFORD, Calif. – Four members of the Stanford men's volleyball team earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic accolades, which were announced by the league today.
Jordan Ewert, Clay Jones, Kevin Rakestraw and Gabriel Vega were recognized for their combined work athletically and in the classroom. UC San Diego led the conference with nine honorees, followed by Cal Baptist (7), BYU (6) and UCLA (6).
To be eligible, students must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically and have spent at least one academic year at the institution and must have competed in fifty percent of their team's competition this season.
