STANFORD, Calif. – Sixteen members of the Stanford men's swimming and diving team were selected College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-Americans, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
The Cardinal had 12 first team selections, including Matt Anderson, Bradley Christensen, Patrick Conaton, Ryan Dudzinski, Tom Kremer, Ted Miclau, Sam Perry, Grant Shoults, True Sweetser, Cameron Thatcher, Maxwell Williamson and Jimmy Yoder. Tarek Abdelghany, Justin Buck, James Murphy and Hank Poppe earned honorable mention honors.

The selections were drawn from 273 colleges and universities across all divisions. Stanford's 12 first-team selections led all men's teams, while Stanford's combined 24 first-team selections across both men and women were the most of any school.
To be selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Honorable mention selections have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at their respective qualifying meets.
