STANFORD, Calif. – Following the completion of the Young Women's National Championship (YWNC), sophomore Kelsey Bing and incoming freshman Corinne Zanolli were selected to the U.S. U-21 Women's National Squad, as announced by USA Field Hockey.
Selections to the U-21 Women's National Squad came from performances at the YWNC, which featured more than 130 of the most elite female collegiate and post-collegiate athletes from around the country. The tournament was followed with a National Camp of four days of intense trainings and practice sessions before the team was decided.
The newly named U.S. U-21 Women's National Team welcomes strong, new talent to the squad while containing 11 veterans, including both Bing and Zanolli. The 2018 U-21 USWNT training and competition schedule is yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
