STANFORD, Calif. – Five members of the Stanford women's rowing team have been invited to the Women's Under 23 National Team Selection Camp of their respective nations.

Leigh Warner and Alie Rusher will attend the U.S. U23 National Team Selection Sweep Camp, while Emily Delleman will attend the U.S. U23 National Team Selection Sculling Camp.

Stephanie Grauer will attend Rowing Canada Aviron's U23 National Team Selection Camp and Meg Saunders will attend Great Britain's U23 National Team Selection Camp.

All five were members of Stanford's varsity eight this season, with three of the five – Warner, Rusher and Grauer – in the Cardinal's top boat all year. Warner has coxed Stanford's varsity eight each of the last two seasons.

With Warner as the coxswain, Grauer in the six seat, Rusher in the three seat and Saunders in the bow seat, Stanford's varsity eight captured second place at the NCAA Championships May 28 in New Jersey. Delleman, who competed in several regattas in the varsity eight during the regular season, rowed in the three seat of Stanford's second varsity eight at the NCAA Championships. She helped guide the boat to a ninth-place finish at the NCAA's.

All five played an important role for a Stanford crew that placed sixth as a team at the NCAA Championships, giving the Cardinal its fourth consecutive top-six team finish at the national championship regatta.
