STANFORD, Calif. – Three former Stanford standouts will participate in the NBA Summer League this July.
Chasson Randle will play with the New York Knicks, Josh Huestis will play with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Rosco Allen will play with the Boston Celtics in NBA Pro Summer Leagues in Las Vegas, Orlando and Utah.
Randle and Huestis will play in the Orlando Pro Summer League from July 1-6 at the Amway Center practice court, where the Orlando Magic train. Allen will play in both the NBA Pro Summer League at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City (July 3-6) and at Cox Pavilion and the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas (July 7-17).
Randle and the Knicks will open with the Dallas Mavericks on July 1 (12 p.m. PT) in Orlando. The Knicks will play at least four games, including a matchup with Huestis and the Thunder on July 3 (10 a.m. PT). The Knicks will also face Dallas (July 1 at 12 p.m. PT), Detroit (July 2 at 10 a.m. PT) and Orlando (July 5 at 2 p.m. PT) prior to the Championship Day on July 6.
Along with the game against Randle and the Knicks, Huestis and the Thunder will face Detroit (July 1 at 2 p.m. PT), Charlotte (July 4 at 10 a.m. PT) and Dallas (July 5 at 10 a.m. PT) prior to the Championship Day on July 6.
Allen and the Celtics will face Philadelphia (July 3 at 4 p.m. PT), San Antonio (July 5 at 4 p.m. PT) and Utah (July 6 at 6 p.m. PT) in Salt Lake City. In the Las Vegas Pro Summer League, Boston will face the Los Angeles Lakers (July 8 at 5:30 p.m. PT), Portland (July 9 at 5:30 p.m. PT) and Philadelphia (July 11 at 3:30 p.m. PT) prior to the championship rounds July 12-17.
All games will be broadcast on NBA TV in the Orlando and Utah Summer Leagues, with the ESPN family of networks also providing coverage of the Las Vegas NBA Summer League action.
Randle made his NBA debut this past season, playing with both the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers. He played in 26 total games, including 18 games with the Knicks and eight contests with the 76ers. He averaged 5.3 points in 11.5 minutes per game overall during the season. Randle played with the Knicks in the 2016 NBA Orlando Pro Summer League, finishing as one of the league's top scorers and assist leaders at 18.3 ppg and 5.0 apg, respectively.
Huestis, a first round pick by Oklahoma City in the 2014 NBA Draft, has played in seven total games in his first two seasons with the Thunder. He played in two games last season and five as rookie during the 2015-16 campaign. Huestis played primarily with the Thunder affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, averaging 14.6 ppg.
Allen played on the Golden State Warriors NBA Summer League team last year, before signing with Obradoiro CAB in the ACB League in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He averaged 11.6 points and 4.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 20 games with the club before ending his season early due to injury in February.
Allen graduated from Stanford in 2016, while Randle and Huestis earned their degree from Stanford in 2015.
